Welcome to the fifth veto ceremony of the game. I would give both nominees the opportunity to explain to me why I should save them, however I feel pretty set in my decision. I think everyone knows who my target this week, and I want to do whatever I can to accomplish taking my target out. I feel that the best way in accomplishing this task is to use the Power of Veto on the houseguest which I feel pity for. Now that I have Vetoed one of my own nominations, I must go on to replace this nominee with another fellow houseguest. This decision was pretty difficult, however I feel this person is one of the less active of the game, and aside from one or two PMs, I have only spoke to them twice. The first time was week 3 [my first HOH], and the second time was week 5 [this week]. I also feel that they are the easiest person to nominate to eliminate my target.
